Through role-playing, games and various activities, the fifth graders learned:

  • How to deal with bullying
  • How to avoid being the target of bullies
  • How to make the transition to middle school a positive and empowering experience.
  • About the different types of bullying
  • About those who bully
  • How to be an upstander rather than a bystander

The club members planned, organized and worked very hard on the presentations. The club even presented a video made by junior Alizander Lizaso, a Glen Cove High School TV-3 Independent Study student.
