Through role-playing, games and various activities, the fifth graders learned:
- How to deal with bullying
- How to avoid being the target of bullies
- How to make the transition to middle school a positive and empowering experience.
- About the different types of bullying
- About those who bully
- How to be an upstander rather than a bystander
The club members planned, organized and worked very hard on the presentations. The club even presented a video made by junior Alizander Lizaso, a Glen Cove High School TV-3 Independent Study student.
