DA: Man Indicted in Fatal Long Beach Shooting

Long Beach man indicted on felony murder charges for the death of Tyrenzo Brown, the officials said.

A man was arraigned Wednesday on charges that he fatally shot a man outside a Long Beach housing project in September, according to the Nassau County District Attorney’s office.

Antonio Webb, 22, of Long Beach, was indicted for second-degree murder and three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon before Judge Teresa Corrigan, the DA said.

“Everyone in Nassau County has a right to live, go to work and raise a family without the threat of gun violence,” said DA Kathleen Rice in a statement. “The Channel Park community and local law enforcement united in action when this tragic murder happened and we will continue to fight to secure justice.”
