Nassau Police: More Cars Keyed, Tires Slashed
Island Park, Meadowmere, Valley Stream among communities near Long Beach reporting criminal mischief to cars.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.
- April 30: Rockaway Turnpike parking lot, Meadowmere; drivers side doors and rear fender keyed.
- May 2: Hampton Inn, Jericho; rear window of car broken, speakers removed.
- May 2: Powell Avenue, North Merrick; car scratched.
- May 2: E. Valley Stream Boulevard, Valley Stream; front windshield and windshield wiper damaged.
- May 2: Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont; front plate glass window severely cracked.
- May 3: Stonytown Road, Plandome Manor; drivers side window broken.

- May 3: Walnut Street, West Hempstead; car scratched.
- May 3: Jackson Avenue, West Hempstead; two cars keyed on left sides.
- May 3: Wadleigh Avenue, West Hempstead; car kicked and scratched.
- May 3: Lancaster Road, Island Park; brown substance poured over car.
- May 3: Terry Street, Hicksville; car roof damaged.
- May 4: Colonial Drive, South Farmingdale; drivers side rear quarter panel spray painted.
- May 4: Baldwin Bowl, Baldwin; drivers side rear door scratched.
- May 4: Surrey Drive, East Meadow; drivers side mirror damaged.
- May 4: ABC Parts, Mineola; windshield shattered.
- May 5: Ketchams Road, Syosset; tire punctured.
- May 5: Manorhaven Village Hall; right rear tire slashed.
- May 6: Fieldmere Street, Elmont; rear window smashed.
