WATCH: LI Radio Station's Viral Traffic Song

Long Island station spoofs hit song for new traffic anthem.

Stuck in 45 minutes of traffic.
And my job’s all the way in Mastic.
I’m just trying to make it on time to work this morning.
I swear this traffic, it’s gonna kill me. Great, my exit’s closed.

What Long Islander can’t relate to those lyrics?

Radio station 106.1 BLI, based in Babylon, spoofed a hit song and created an anthem for Long Island traffic.

A play on “FourFiveSeconds” by Paul McCartney, Rihanna, and Kanye West, “45 Minutes of Traffic” chronicles one of the hardships of living on Long Island.

The video has been watched nearly 300,000 times on the WBLI Facebook page. The station created an accompanying music video in which singers imitate the moves of the “FourFiveSeconds” singers. The music video had garnered more than 34,000 views as of Friday.
