Update: Malverne, West Hempstead, Lynbrook Schools Decide on Monday Classes

Lynbrook and West Hempstead school officials have decided to delay classes as snow blankets Long Island.
Malverne, West Hempstead, and Lynbrook School Districts will have a two-hour delayed starts for all schools Monday.

Lynbrook schools released the following information:
Due to the weather forecast, schools will have a delayed opening tomorrow, Monday, March 2nd. This means all classes will begin 2 hours later. All morning activities are cancelled. Thank you and be safe.

West Hempstead released the following statement:
Due to the conditions, all West Hempstead Schools are on a 2 hour delayed opening schedule, Monday, March 2nd.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL BUSES, INCLUDING THOSE FOR PRIVATE AND PAROCHIAL SCHOOL STUDENTS, WOULD RUN APPROXIMATELY TWO HOURS LATE AS WELL.
Parents/Guardians of students who attend private schools are responsible for checking the open/closed status of the school their child attends.
