Police: Tires Slashed, Several Cars Keyed

Nassau County Police report on criminal mischief to autos in the region.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

  • March 11: Broadway Batteries, Bethpage; several cars damaged.
  • March 12: Voice Road, Carle Place; car keyed.
  • March 12: Stewart Avenue, East Garden City; rear passenger tire slashed.
  • March 12: Southern Parkway, Uniondale; car damaged.
  • March 12: North Second Street and Brooklyn Avenue, New Hyde Park; unknown substance thrown on car and caused damage.
  • March 13: Fox Hollow Inn, Woodbury; rear window shattered.
  • March 14: Staples Street, Farmingdale; car damaged, drivers side mirror stolen.
  • March 14: First Place, Bellmore; all four tires punctured.
  • March 14: Biltmore Avenue, Elmont; car keyed.
  • March 14: Bedford Avenue, Bellmore; all four tires punctured.

  • March 15: Nassau Road, Roosevelt; front windshield damaged.
  • March 15: Roosevelt Field Mall East parking lot, Garden City; front passenger side fender damaged.
  • March 15: Bryn Mawr Road, New Hyde Park; two doors scratched on drivers side.
  • March 15: Marc Drive, Valley Stream; front passenger window broken.
  • March 15: Red Robin, Carle Place; rear passenger door damaged.
  • March 16: East Seaman Avenue, Baldwin; car keyed.
  • March 16: Parkway Drive, Baldwin; rear window smashed.
  • March 17: William Road, North Massapequa; two cars scratched from front to back.
  • March 17; William Road, North Massapequa; passenger side of car scratched from front to back on drivers side.
  • March 18: Poplar Lane, East Meadow; passenger side front window smashed.
