Birch Lane Students Place in Reflections Contest

Three of Birch Lane Elementary School students placed in Nassau County Reflections program.

Sixth grader Anna Campanaro was awarded for photography. Her picture also received a State PTA award of Merit.

Fifth grader Muriel Anne LaMassa won for the Literature category.

First grader Gerard Beleckas was awarded for photography. He took a picture of a duck and explained in his description that people need to take care of all of God’s creatures. The theme was “The world would be a better place if...” He is pictured above.

Congratulations to Anna, Muriel Anne, Gerard and all the other students that participated in this program.
