Merrick Woman Honored by Nassau County
Local resident one of 12 recognized during Women's History Month.

Merrick’s Danielle LaRose was honored by Nassau County during Women’s History Month.
“It’s my honor to recognize extraordinary citizens who have volunteered to help feed and clothe neighbors, keep others safe during emergencies, raise money for charitable causes, enhance the lives of our children and help protect neglected animals,” said County Executive Ed Mangano in a statement.
“You are outstanding neighbors, friends and community members. I would like to thank each and every one of you for your selfless acts of kindness and the personal sacrifices you have made for others.
