Cops: Cars Caught on Camera May Be Connected to Tire and Rim Thefts
Incidents happened May 1, police said.
Nassau County Police released surveillance photos of two cars that may be connected to tire and rim thefts in Franklin Square.
At 2:30 a.m. on May 1, tires and rims were stolen from a 2016 Acura and a 2013 Honda Accord on Van Buren Avenue, police said. Around that time, a white pickup truck and a light colored minivan were seen in the area, cops said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
