Officials allege he turned against a red light while impaired by alcohol and drugs. He has pleaded not guilty and faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
   

• Six Indicted After Nassau County Drug Trafficking Ring Operated Out Of Queens Apartment: DA (patch.com) — Mineola-based prosecutors say a yearlong investigation has led to six indictments in a major fentanyl and cocaine trafficking ring bringing drugs into Nassau County from a Queens apartment. Authorities describe large seizures of narcotics, guns, and cash, and detail extensive alleged sales across multiple Nassau communities. The accused ringleader and co-defendants have pleaded not guilty and face lengthy potential prison terms.
