Boyd Students Become Yoga Masters
Students were visited by yoga instructors from Prana Yoga and Wellness of Northport.

Students in the Elwood Union Free School District perfected their “tree” pose and other yoga techniques during a week of yoga instruction.
James H. Boyd Intermediate School students were visited by yoga instructors Cathy Donnelly and Kathleen Brady, from Prana Yoga and Wellness of Northport, during their physical education classes.

They were introduced to the art of yoga and learned basic stretches and poses to practice balance, flexibility and strength. The students were told the name of each stretch and they completed routines of various yoga poses.
Before they know it, the’ll be yoga masters, hitting the “camel” pose with ease.
