Police Log: Woman Incoherently Rants to Officers

Sunday, April 5

At 6:42 a.m., police reported a parking complaint in which there was a commercial vehicle parked on North Road overnight.

At 4:28 p.m., police assisted a woman whose vehicle battery was dead on Constitution Square. Officers helped get her car started.

Monday, April 6

At 4:04 a.m., police assisted a person who was suffering from nausea, a rapid heart rate and was complaining of heart attack symptoms on Jay Court. Northport Rescue transported the person to Huntington Hospital.

At 6:40 a.m., police reported damaged property to a boat trailer on Scudder Avenue.

At 6:55 a.m., police reported numerous complaints on Scudder Avenue. Officers spoke to the complainant who was reportedly incoherently ranting. The person complained about: her neighbor across the hall when she leaves the building, her downstairs neighbor’s praying and how loud she is, how she is missing $20 and doesn’t know what happened to it, how her brother, who lives upstate, won’t go to his local police department and complain about what is going on in his life and how her parents passed away while living in Ukraine. Police documented her complaints.

At 6:55 a.m., police reported an injured raccoon on Highland Avenue. Police euthanized and disposed of the animal.

At 9:52 a.m., police assisted a person who sustained injuries from a fall on Seaview Avenue. The person was transported to Huntington Hospital.
