Central Islip Man Sentenced for 2012 Rape at Mount Sinai House Party

Felix Troche Jr. was found guilty after a 15-day trial.

A Central Islip man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for the 2012 rape and sodomy of a woman in Mount Sinai, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota announced Tuesday.

Felix Troche Jr., 27, was found guilty last month following a 15-day trial before judge Barbara Kahn in Riverhead.

Troche was convicted of first degree rape, first degree criminal sexual act, second and third degree assault and other charges, the DA said.

Troche met the woman at a party in a Mount Sinai house on June 1, 2012 and held her against her will, repeatedly assaulting the woman for over four hours, authorities said.
