Port Jeff Middle String Players Perform for Seawolves
Students perform the National Anthem before basketball game.

Putting their musical talents to good use, orchestra students from Port Jefferson Middle School kicked off the Stony Brook University men’s basketball game on Feb. 25 by performing the National Anthem.
Among the students performing for fans of the Seahawks were bassist Jack Kelly, violinists Grant Samara and Noah Teaney and cellists Nichole Schully and Lucas Welinder.
