The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce encourages community members to take part in the upcoming Polar Plunge.
They will be “Freezin’ for a Reason” on Saturday, March 7, at North Hempstead Beach Park, to raise money for the New York Special Olympics.
According Mitch Schwartz, the chamber’s co-president, last year, the organization was one of the top two fundraisers for the event. He’d like to see the chamber this year rise to number one.
