Two drunk drivers collided with each other in Rockville Centre and seriously injured two passengers early Saturday, according to Nassau County Police.
Peter Serra, 34, of Oceanside, was driving his 2012 Volkswagen SUV the wrong way on Merrick Road at 4:55 a.m., cops said.

Neither Serra nor Thompson was injured in the crash, cops said. Thompson’s passengers, however, sustained serious injuries. Police said a 30-year-old woman sitting in the front passenger seat was in critical condition for multiple leg fractures and head trauma. A 29-year-old woman in the back seat fractured her left arm and sustained head trauma, cops said. She is reportedly listed in serious condition.
Serra was charged with first-degree vehicular assault, reckless driving, and DWI. Thompson was charged with DWI. Both were arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
