SPCA Seeking Info After 3 Beheaded Roosters Found in Centereach
Gruesome find was made Tuesday afternoon.

The Suffolk County SPCA is seeking the public’s help to find who is responsible for beheading three roosters and leaving them in a garbage bag on a Centereach road.
The gruesome find was made at about 4 p.m. Tuesday at the corner of Henry Road and Edward Street, SPCA officials said. The beheaded roosters were inside a white garbage bag. Suffolk Police alerted the SPCA of the incident.
SPCA Chief Roy Gross said Wednesday that it is “too early in the investigation to rule out a religious or cult ceremony.”
