As 2015 comes to a close, I’ve been looking back at some of my favorite stories of Southampton Patch from this year.
They might have not have been the top most read stories this year, but my favorite stories were the ones that I found the most interesting or most heartwarming.

- Bridgehampton Everyday Hero: Hayground School Founding Member Arjun Achuthan - Arjun was nominated as an “Everyday Hero” because he’s a ‘teacher among teachers’ who helps make kids smile everyday.
- Hamptons Native Launches Local Candle Company - Southampton resident Brittany Torres recently starts her company, Hamptons Handpoured.
- Sag Harbor Resident Shatters Record at 20th Annual Ellen’s Run 5K Race - Local resident, Nick Lemon, came in first place and broke the old record set by New York City resident Robert Beit in 2013.
- Local Student Starts Charity Business - Dillion Kab started the business as part of her Senior Project for school.
- Watch: Tony Yazbeck and Helen Mirren Surprise Audience at Teeny Awards - Broadway producer Rob Hinerliter created a special presentation for the audience during the event in June
