Due to today’s continuing snow, all Wantagh Public Schools will open tomorrow, Monday March 2, with a two hour delay. Specifically Wantagh High School will begin at 9:37; the Middle School at 10:16 and all three elementary schools at 11:15. All before school activities are cancelled. Students who typically ride the bus to school including our private and parochial school students should arrive at their bus stops based on this two hour delay. We hope that this adjustment of schedule will allow for safer travel for our students and staff. Please note that weather conditions can be unpredictable and should conditions worsen requiring a closing of school, an early morning Connect Ed call will be made. Have a good night and please travel safely tomorrow morning.
This is a breaking story. Patch will update as new information is confirmed.
