BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Flourish Cafe in Northampton Township has received final approvals to open a second location at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. Meanwhile, a Bucks County towing company is being recognized with a national Gold Award of Excellence from the American Automobile Association (AAA).

The owners of Flourish Cafe, an Eastern European restaurant at the Village Shires Shopping Center in Northampton Township, have an enviable problem. Their food is so good and the lines are so long that it has been a challenge accommodating its hungry patrons. Bucks County Towing Earns Gold Award

Bucks County Towing, a division of the Fred Beans Automotive Group, has received top recognition from AAA for overall excellence in roadside assistance. Towing Manager Anthony Camillo recently accepted the Gold Award on behalf of his team at an AAA national event in Florida. Guru’s Hosting Diwali Party To Benefit Stray Animals

Guru’s Indian Cuisine owner Samarth Joshi and his aunt Priya Trivedi of Guru’s Indian Cuisine in Newtown are organizing a huge Diwali Party to benefit Guru’s Guardian Angels, the nonprofit launched by Priya last year that is dedicated to rescuing and sheltering stray animals around the world. The festive festival of lights celebration will take place at Rafter’s, located at 101 Friend’s Lane in Newtown, on Saturday, October 19 from 5 to 10 p.m. Click here to read the article.

Kolbe Antiques Reopens Under New Ownership

The iconic F.P. Kolbe/Poor Richard's complex, a beloved landmark on the Delaware River in Point Pleasant, has been acquired by the group behind the legendary People's Store in Lambertville, N.J., and Stone House Antiques in Doylestown. Kolbe, just a scenic 10-mile river-view drive from New Hope and Frenchtown, N.J., along River Road, is easily accessible for antiques and art browsers, enthusiasts, and collectors. Philly Chicken Eatery To Open Bucks Location

A fast-casual chicken eatery is coming to Newtown. At its Oct. 9 meeting, the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to grant Brixmor Property Group conditional use approval to bring an elevated fast-casual chicken takeout business to the Village at Newtown shopping center. The shop would be among the first suburban franchise locations of Philadelphia’s Love & Honey Fried Chicken in Fishtown. Click here to read the article.
