Bucks County Artist Barbara Moon Boertzel's First Museum Retrospective, Listening to Time, Premieres a New Artist Book Trilogy at Michener Art Museum (town.news) — Doylestown's Michener Art Museum is preparing a major retrospective of fiber and book artist Barbara Moon Boertzel, running October 24 through April 18 and anchored by a new artist book trilogy. Local residents get detailed dates for opening day, artist talks, papermaking programs, and free Second Sundays, along with regular museum hours and holiday schedule at the South Pine Street location.
   

4. Doylestown Home to Oscar Hammerstein Breaks Ground on Major Construction (TAPinto.net) — Construction is now underway at Highland Farm in Doylestown to transform Oscar Hammerstein's former home into an expanded museum and theater education center. The project will restore the historic farmhouse, add museum-quality systems, and preserve artifacts from Hammerstein's years in town. Work should finish this winter, with public tours expected to resume in spring 2027.
   

5. Doylestown American Legion Hosting All-You-Can Eat Breakfast on Sunday (TAPinto.net) — Doylestown's Albert J. Atkinson Jr. American Legion Post 210 is inviting residents to an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast fundraiser this Sunday, Oct. 11, from 7:30–11:30 a.m. Proceeds support repairs to the nearly century-old Legion building, which hosts veterans' groups and community organizations. Tickets are available at the door, with discounted prices for children.
