NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Multiple charges, including an attempted first-degree murder charge, have been waived to court against a Bucks County man accused in a road rage incident that injured a woman last fall in Newtown and Middletown townships.
On Friday at District Court in Newtown, Christopher Corbi, 41, of Warrington, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Bucks County Court in Doylestown where he will face the attempted first degree homicide charge; a first-degree and second-degree felony charge for aggravated assault; and multiple misdemeanor charges, including recklessly endangering another person; tampering with evidence; criminal mischief; simple assault; and possession of a weapon.
Corbi is currently out on bail after posting $100,000, or 10 percent of the $1 million bail set by the court.

The incident was first reported to Middletown Township Police at 6:19 p.m. when they were contacted by a woman who reported being shot at by another driver. When police arrived on Swift Road, they found that the woman was bleeding from her wrist.
The woman provided police with a description of the car - a blue Honda Civic - and its license, which was broadcast out to law enforcement. Less than an hour later, Corbi was in custody.
The woman told police that she was driving eastbound on the Newtown Bypass in the area of the Summit Square Shopping Center when she saw a Honda Civic driving slowly in the right lane and traffic passing the car to the left.
When she also proceeded to pass the car, she told police that she saw something "silver or a flash" coming from the Honda. That's when she noticed a bullet hole in her passenger side window. She then told police she slowed down to allow the Honda to pass so she could see the license plate.
While on the phone with 911, she followed the Honda onto Woodbourne Road and then into the Swan Pointe development, where she told police the Civic "slammed on its brakes" and a man got out and started shooting at her car with bullets striking the windshield. The man then drove away, she told police.
Police later reported finding four or five bullet holes in her car, including one through the front passenger window and three through the front window.
After he was taken into custody, Corbi told police he put the gun in a Wegmans bag and dropped it in a trash can at the PetSmart store in Newtown. He also dumped a box of ammunition in a trash can at the Newtown Farmers Market. The gun - a Taurus revolver - and the box of ammunition were later recovered by police.
