1. Newtown Gallery Expands Access To Art Beyond Its Walls (patch.com) — Art lovers in Newtown can now explore and purchase original works from ArtWRKD through a new online gallery, extending the reach of its borough-based exhibition space. The gallery is also offering personal curator appointments in Newtown, giving visitors one-on-one guidance to better understand exhibitions, connect with artists, and feel more comfortable collecting art.
   

2. Updated Plans For Liberty Centre Unveiled Tonight In Newtown (patch.com) — Newtown residents are getting a first look at significantly revised plans for the Liberty Centre redevelopment, including preserved and improved downtown parking and 6,000 square feet of new retail and restaurant space around a village square. The proposal, centered along Newtown Creek from Centre Avenue, will be presented at tonight's Borough Council meeting, where officials will also consider extending their planning consultant's role in shaping the project.
   

3. Woman Faces Charges After Breaking Into Tyler Park Boarding House (patch.com) — Police say a 40-year-old woman from Philadelphia faces trespass and related charges after allegedly entering a Tyler State Park boarding house in Newtown Township, using trainees' toiletries, taking clothing and slides, and eating residents' food. Troopers from the Trevose barracks found her nude outside the building, took her into custody without incident, and transported her to Bucks County Prison while the case proceeds in court.
   

4. Bucks County adding more support for voting including on-demand voting (trentonian.com) — Newtown residents will soon be able to apply in person for mail-in ballots and drop them off at a new temporary satellite election office at Bucks County Community College's Newtown campus. Opening in early October, the site will also handle voter registration and provide a secure drop box, joining several other new locations across Bucks County to expand convenient voting access.
   

5. Dr. Jones Forced to Cancel 'Bucks County, USA' Screening due to Last-Minute Security Assessments (bucks-news.com) — A planned screening of the PBS docuseries "Bucks County, USA" at Bucks County Community College's Newtown campus was canceled after a private security chief requested bomb-sniffing dogs and extra armed guards for conservative guests. With little time for an independent assessment, the college president moved the event off campus, stressing student safety and insisting the decision was not about politics despite online controversy.
