Cop Charged After Making Gun Threats: Philadelphia Police
While off duty, Sequeta Williams threatened people with a gun at a North Broad Street bar, police said.

PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia Police officer will be dismissed following a 30-day suspension after turning herself in to Philadelphia Police Department’s Internal Affairs Unit Friday as a result of an investigation into an incident where she allegedly threatened people with a firearm while off duty.
Officer Sequeta Williams is the sixth officer with the department to be charged and dismissed since March.
Police said Williams, 27, pointed a firearm at several people and threatened them at about 1:28 a.m. on Wednesday Jan. 25 at a bar on the 4800 block of North Broad Street.

Police said an investigation corroborated accusations made against Williams.
Williams, a 7-year veteran, now faces charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats and related charges, police said.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross has suspended Sequeta Williams for 30 days with the intent to dismiss at the end of the 30 days.
On May 18, an officer was charged after allegedly shooting at a vehicle while off duty.
An officer was arrested and charged after allegedly chasing his wife while he was in his patrol car, causing her to crash into another vehicle in early May.
Two officers were arrested and charged with crimes in April; one for child pornography charges and the other for striking and killing a pedestrian while driving recklessly when off duty.
In late March, an officer was charged after allegedly abandoning a dog in Wissahickon Valley Park. The dog was emaciated and has since made a full recovery.
