Woman Injured, Suspect Dead in Downtown Denver Shooting
The crime scene has been secured, police say.
Denver, CO — A woman was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound after a shooting in the 1500 block of Wynkoop Street in Denver, police said.
Roads in the area remain closed while police investigate but the shooting scene has been secured. Police said the shooting does not appear to be random.
The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities are working to determine the relationship between the suspect and the victim.
