Erin Andrews, NFL Sideline Reporter And 'Dancing With The Stars' Host, Reveals She Battled Cancer
The popular Andrews didn't miss one NFL game, despite surgeries, and she'll be working the Super Bowl in two weeks.
Popular sideline reporter and "Dancing With The Stars" co-host Erin Andrews was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year, she revealed to MMQB.com Tuesday.
Andrews, 38, works the sidelines for "NFL on Fox." While she missed a couple of "Dancing With The Stars" episodes, she didn't miss an NFL game this season while undergoing surgeries.
Andrews was cleared by her doctors in mid-November, two weeks after another procedure.

Andrews is also known for one of the most highly publicized invasion-of-privacy cases in the past few years. She settled a civil suit with the operator of a hotel in March for $55 million after Michael David Barrett filmed her nude through a peephole and leaked the video online.
The year ended on a happy note for Andrews: She got engaged to former NHL player Jared Stoll. And in less than two weeks she'll be covering the Super Bowl for Fox, something she told doctors she'd be doing before her first surgery.

“After the [hotel video] trial everyone kept telling me, ‘You’re so strong, for going through all of this, for holding down a job in football, for being the only woman on the crew,’” Andrews told MMQB. “Finally I got to the point where I believed it too. ‘Hey, I have cancer, but dammit, I am strong, and I can do this.’”
