How did you get started with WW?

Chris: I joined WW in September 2016 to support my aunt, a breast cancer survivor, in her weight-loss journey. I’ve lost 117 pounds on the program and became a WW Coach five months ago! I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn’t for WW!


What do you enjoy most about the WW community?

Chris: I love how supportive members are with one another. Something I find most inspiring about this community is the accountability members have for themselves.



What is your favorite thing about the new customized myWW program?

Chris: My favorite thing about the myWW program is the fact that this program is for anyone. Members just take the myWW personal assessment, and then WW's smart algorithm matches them with their very own proven weight-loss plan. It's so customizable to anyone’s lifestyle, and I think that's amazing.


How would you describe your local WW Studio to someone who's never visited?

Chris: Modernized, sleek and comfortable!



Do you have any tips for trying to eat healthy around the holidays?

Chris: Plan ahead. If I know I won't track for a day, I make sure I load up on ZeroPoint foods, and I get back on track the next day. (ZeroPoint foods form the foundation of a healthy eating pattern and are foods you don't have to track! Depending on your customized plan, they can include foods such as chicken breast, fat-free Greek yogurt, all vegetables and more.) I hold myself accountable!


What’s your advice for people who have a New Year’s resolution to lose weight?

Chris: Instead of making a "resolution," make it your goal. You can make a goal 24 hours a day, seven days a week ⁠— not just New Year's! Any day is a perfect day to start.


Why is it important to focus on your health and wellness year-round?

Chris: It is important to focus on your health and wellness year-round because we need to make the most of our lives. Health and wellness are forever.


How do you stay motivated? How do you incorporate activity in your WW lifestyle?

Chris: I stay motivated by connecting with my friends and fellow WW members on Instagram and attending WW Workshops as a member. I may be an employee, but I am also a member! I incorporate activity by dancing and doing yoga!


What is your advice for someone who wants to become healthier but doesn’t know where to start?

Chris: Take it one day a time. Choose anywhere to start. Nothing happens overnight. This is to live a healthy life forever.


What motivates you as a WW Coach?

Chris: I always look forward to spending 30 minutes in a WW Workshop with my beloved members, talking about how our daily lives and struggles affect our journeys. It's our safe house.
