TURMOIL OVER IMMIGRATION ORDER PROMPTS PROTESTS NATIONWIDE
Thousands of people opposed to President Trump's ban on certain immigrants gathered coast to coast Sunday in protest, including at John F. Kennedy International Airport, where waves of people have been gathering to support people barred from entering the country.

JUDGES GRANT PARTIAL BAN ON TRUMP IMMIGRATION ORDER
On Friday, President Trump signed an executive order effectively limiting the ability of people from seven countries to visit the United States - even if they had visas or green cards. This prompted lawsuits in several cities including Brooklyn, Alexandria, Boston and Chicago. In each of those four cities, a federal judge order a halt to the deportations.

MASSIVE PROTEST OUTSIDE WHITE HOUSE
Protests against a U.S. travel ban for nationals from seven majority-Muslim countries moved from international airports to President Donald Trump's front yard on Sunday.
WHO WAS THE JUDGE WHO STOPPED THE DEPORTATIONS?
Judge Ann Donnelly, who is assigned to the federal court in Brooklyn, became the first judge to knock down the executive order. She is a former prosecutor who spent 25 years in the office of the Manhattan District Attorney.
NEW YORKERS NORMALLY DON'T GO TO JFK
The refusal to allow people into the country prompted protests across the country. At John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, more than 1,000 people showed up; remarkable in several ways, not the least of which is New Yorkers don't go to JFK unless they have to. Clearly, they felt they had to.
SENATOR MARKEY: "THIS IS A MUSLIM BAN"
In Boston, thousands showed up at Copley Square where Sen. Ed Markey said "This is a Muslim ban no matter what alternative facts President Trump tries to peddle."

MAYOR EMANUEL: TRUMP HAS "TARNISHED AMERICA'S STANDING"
At O'Hare Airport in Chicago, lawyers took over the food court as they worked to get detainees freed. Mayor Emanuel said Trump's actions "have tarnished America's standing as a beacon of hope for the free world."
FOR LA - FORECAST SHOWS SCATTERED PROTESTS
In Los Angeles, hundreds showed up at Los Angeles International Airport, carrying signs and chanting. It was one of several protests that sprung up around the city.

By Sunday, administration officials were showing up on the news shows to explain things. It just seemed to sow the confusion.
THOUSANDS EXPECTED IN SEATTLE
In Seattle, a "Stand with Immigrants" Rally is getting underway at Westlake Park. Thousands are expected to attend. It follows the thousands of people who showed up Saturday night at Sea-Tec Airport.

OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST SAYS TRUMP HAS MADE HIM AN ALIEN
Meanwhile, three-time Olympic Gold Medalist Mo Farah, who lives in Oregon but is from Somalia, posted on his Facebook page that since he was born in Somalia and is currently training in Ethiopia, he may not be able to get back to Oregon to be with his family.
