‘Pink Lady Bandit’ On Bank Robbery Spree Along East Coast: FBI

A woman dubbed the "Pink Lady Bandit" has been on a bank robbery spree along the East Coast, the FBI says.

The FBI says a woman dubbed the “Pink Lady Bandit” has hit held up banks along the East Coast, including robberies in Pennsylvania, Delaware and North Carolina. She is known for carrying a distinctive pink handbag, the agency said in a national crime alert.

The suspect is believed to have robbed banks in Carlisle, Pennsylvania; Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; and Ayden, North Carolina, from July 20-23. In each case, she showed a note to the teller and demanded money

Authorities say the suspect is either a white or Hispanic woman who is between 5 feet, 2 inches and 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. In two of the robberies, she wore yoga pants, tank tops, a navy baseball hat and carried a pink handbag.
