Hillary Clinton In Car Crash At Menendez Fundraiser In NJ (VIDEO)

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A vehicle carrying former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton crashed inside a parking lot at a fundraiser for U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez in Hudson County on Monday.

Clinton’s vehicle had just arrived at an expensive fundraising event at the Liberty Prime Steakhouse in Jersey City when the crash took place (see video below).

The Secret Service said that nobody was injured in the collision. The driver of the SUV told police that she drove into the garage and struck a concrete crossbeam that wasn’t marked with its height. Police are investigating, the Associated Press reported.

After the crash, Clinton emerged from the car and headed straight for the fundraiser, which also saw a protest from the Green Party of New Jersey in anticipation of her arrival.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee posted a video of the crash which immediately went viral and inspired more than 1,000 comments, such as:

• “She'll blame this on Trump too”
• “She ran into the Trump Wall.”
• “Hillary is really getting close in the poles.”
• “Replay of election night 2016.”
