Texas Abortion Ban Resumes

A federal appeals court Friday night quickly allowed Texas to resume banning most abortions, just one day after clinics began racing to serve patients again for the first time since early September.

A one-page order by the 5th U.S. Court of Appeals reinstated the nation's strictest abortion law, which bans abortions once cardiac activity is detected, usually around six weeks. George Floyd’s Family On Thank-You Tour

Members of George Floyd's family were in Los Angeles this weekend to launch their "Thank You Tour" across the United States to show their appreciation for the millions of people who protested in 2020 to demand justice after Floyd was murdered by a Minneapolis police officer.

The visit was also used to announce the family's new nonprofit, which will “promote respect, trust and love, as well as empower people to make positive changes in their lives.”

Mask Dispute Ends In Stabbing

A face mask dispute turned violent Friday when a security guard at a Manhattan Apple store was stabbed by a customer after he was asked to put on a mask.
