Super Bowl LI Betting Odds, Prop Bets

If you can think it, you can place a bet on it on Super Bowl Sunday.

There isn't anything too glamorous about this year's Super Bowl spread. Vegas oddsmakers have the New England Patriots favored by 3 over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. The over/unders are between 58.5-59.5.

While the odds have New England by a field goal, betting site OddsShark is predicting a 29.3-21.1 win for Atlanta.

But for those tired of the usual sports bets, your biggest day of the year is almost here.

A Super Bowl tradition, the prop bets go beyond who will win or lose or what the total points scored will be. Anyone with a few dollars to burn can wager on everything and anything that takes place on Super Bowl Sunday. Want to put money down on how many times the team owners will be shown? You can do that! Have a few bucks to place a bet for what the first penalty will be? Why not take pass interference at +550? Want to bet on who President Donald Trump is going to pick? Don't take that one, he's a known Patriots fan and the line on that one is -500 for New England and +300 for Atlanta.

Gamblers who think the first score will be a touchdown have a money line of -135, but the line for the first points coming from a field goal or safety stands at +135. Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones stands at +700 to score the first touchdown, but if you bet on Atlanta's Joshua Perkins or Eric Weems, you'll have a nice return at +6,600; If you put a $100 bet on one of those two, that means a return of over $6,600.

Will the first play be a run or a pass? Who will the Super Bowl MVP will mention first? What's the color of the Gatorade poured on the winning coach? In case you're wondering, it's +300 for water, green, yellow, and orange; +500 for red; +750 for blue, and +1,000 for purple.

Before the game, Luke Bryan is set to sing the National Anthem with the over/under at 2 minutes 15 seconds. Bets for the color of his pants start at -200 for blue jeans and +150 for anything else. The chances of Bryan replicating Christina Aguilera's dreadful performance at Super Bowl XLV and omitting a word from the song is running at +400 for yes and -700 for no.

At halftime, odds of Lady Gaga singing "Born This Way" first comes in at +225. Her first two hits, "Just Dance" and "Poker Face," sit at +1,000.

We could go on, but there are simply too many bets to list. If you want to know the odds for an onside kick, defensive or special teams score, if a roughing the passer penalty will be called, or almost anything else, head over to OddsShark.
