Fairfield Native Bringing Ukrainian Refugees To Germany With Convoys

A Fairfield native living in Germany is helping Ukrainian refugees complete their journeys to safety by driving in war relief convoys from Poland to Germany.

Emily Kilgannon-Neumann has participated in two convoys during the last month — shuttling clothes, food and medical supplies to Kraków, Poland, and returning to Germany with refugees from Ukraine.

San Ramon Scout Builds Shelter For Animals

A lot of people have a love for animals. But not everyone can use that love to build a 6-foot shelter for livestock priced at more than $1,000.

Baby Squirrels Make For Nutty Discovery In Franconia Car Repair Shop

Normally, when a check engine light goes on, it points to a problem with a car's performance. But on Tuesday, one car shop in Virginia found a more squirrelly reason for the check engine light in one customer's car.

An auto repair shop found three baby squirrels sleeping under the hood of a customer's vehicle. The squirrels had been in a nest they made under the hood.
