Chance Of Rain All Weekend, Temps In The 80s For NoVA, DC
There is a chance of rain Saturday through Monday in the NoVA, DC weather forecast with highs in the upper 80s.
WASHINGTON, DC — Chances for rain across DC and northern Virginia will continue through the weekend and into Monday as temperatures hover in the upper 80s, according to the National Weather Service.
Scattered showers and storms over the weekend will become more likely on Monday, the weather service said. Rain chances will increase from 40 percent Saturday and Sunday to 70 percent as the work week starts.
During the first part of the weekend, a surge in moisture from the southern Atlantic Seaboard can lead to spotty thunderstorm activity along the mid-Atlantic coast, according to AccuWeather. Storms should avoid the beaches most of the weekend.
