Liberty University Dining Celebrates Employees

This Spring, Sodexo at Liberty University created a robust campaign to celebrate employees. Dining management teamed with students to thank employees for their dedication, especially in light of the past two years of the pandemic, shortages, and other related struggles.

Students signed large poster cards to present to all dining units. Management made goodie boxes. A social media reel was created featuring students saying thank you and giving shout outs to their favorite workers. Managers wrote notes of gratitude to employees, then those employees read the notes on camera.

“We truly couldn’t pull off the day-to-day operations without our employees,” said District Manager Duke Davis. “It’s so important that they are made aware of how much we appreciate them every day. It’s been a tough year of staffing and application shortages, so those who do prioritize coming into work and giving it their all really stand out. The success of Liberty Dining is all because of them.”
