It Will Feel Like 105 This Week In VA: See Timeline For Extreme Heat
Extreme heat returns to Virginia this week, though highs are not quite as intense as those brought by the heat dome earlier this month.
Scorching temperatures will descend across Virginia this week, as heat index values are forecast to exceed 100-degree territory.
While the core of the latest heat dome won't be directly over the state, Virginians still won't be getting much of a reprieve from the blistering conditions.
When Does The Heat Hit?
The National Weather Service said temperatures will only continue to increase through the week after Monday's readings peaked in the high 80s.
