Virginia Veteran Wins Record-Breaking Payout On 'The Price Is Right': Reports
The previous prize record was set a decade ago.
A retired Army veteran from Virginia took home the largest single-game payout in the history of “The Price Is Right” during the show’s special Mother’s Day episode Friday, according to multiple reports.
Fox News reports that Vanesa McCaskell won more than $240,000 in cash and prizes playing a new game created in collaboration with BetMGM called “The Lion’s Share.” She took home $227,500 in cash and a mother-daughter trip to Morocco worth $12,650.
The previous single pricing-game record was set in 2016 with a win of $210,000. McCaskell’s win is now the biggest in the show’s 54-year history.
