W&M Dining provides $1000 grant to Williamsburg House of Mercy

William & Mary (W&M) Dining Services by Sodexo recently presented Williamsburg House of Mercy with $1,000 to help within the community.

William & Mary (W&M) Dining Services by Sodexo recently presented Williamsburg House of Mercy with $1,000 to help within the community.

This grant was received from the Sodexo Foundation - STOP Hunger campaign. W&M Dining was selected as a national photo contest winner.

The winning image features the W&M dining staff packaging meals donated this past spring from a student meal swipe drive.

The Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation mobilizes experts, innovators, volunteers, and donors to feed children in the U.S. today and advocate for policies that ensure no child is hungry again tomorrow.

Sodexo employees support Stop Hunger year-round by donating their time, resources, and expertise, holding fundraisers, and encouraging others to get involved.

The mission of Williamsburg House of Mercy is to provide quality compassionate human services to all people, especially the most vulnerable, regardless of faith.

The organization offers a safe and welcoming environment for area homeless to find respite, receive services, and work toward ending their homelessness, and emergency assistance and supportive services to those struggling to maintain housing and regain stability.
