The Virginia Department of Health reported 836 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, marking the second straight day with new cases below 1,000. The 7-day average of new cases is 970. In all, 128,407 cases have been reported across Virginia, along with 2,686 deaths and 9,932 hospitalizations.

DC Updates List Of States Requiring 14-day Self-Quarantine

D.C. Department of Health on Tuesday updated its list of states deemed to be at high risk for transmitting the new coronavirus. People traveling from these 29 states to D.C. will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days when they arrive.
