The eatery got its beginnings in food truck favorite, Hula Girl. Fans of the food truck will find familiar items such as plate lunches and Spam musubi, but the restaurant will also offer more chef-driven dishes.

Plans also call for a full bar with Hawaiian drinks and a mix of local and Hawaiian beers. Hula Girl will occupy the former Aladdin’s Eatery space in the middle of the block near Guapo’s. No date has yet been announced for the opening.
