Auburn Hills Golf Club

The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery County-Blacksburg will hold its 24th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 6, at Auburn Hills Golf Club, route 8 toward Riner, and invites players as well as sponsors to take part in the event.
This four player Captain’s Choice starts at 9:00 AM with a shotgun start. &nbsp;Players may register as a team or as an individual and be placed on a team. &nbsp;Entry fees are $100 per golfer or $400 per team, which includes cart and green fees. &nbsp;Lunch will be provided as well as many great prizes awarded. Hole sponsorships include: $100 single hole, $200 9 hole, $300 18 hole, and $500 event sponsor.

Saturday, July 11, 9-4. Hosted by The Friend's of the Library the tour is self guided, showcasing six private gardens all located in Blacksburg town limits. Along with the glorious gardens, the tour features plein air artists, musicians, a Master Gardener Plant Clinic, the Virginia Native Plant Society, a rain barrel raffle and more!&nbsp; Bring cash for the raffle and an opportunity to win a plumbed rain barrel painted by a local artist. Raffle tickets are a $10 donation. Tickets for the tour are $20 and on sale June 1, on line or at area libraries. Thank you to the business and private sponsors that allow all proceeds to go directly to the local libraries.
