• Pumpkin Festival Opens with Wine Festival (nrvnews.com) — Sinkland Farms in Christiansburg is kicking off its 35th Annual Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, Sept. 19, with a two-day Wine Festival featuring Virginia wineries, distilleries, and live music. Running through Nov. 1, the farm offers hayrides, a nationally ranked corn maze, kids' activities, and new Pumpkin Putt-Putt, giving Christiansburg-area families plenty of fall weekends to plan a visit.
