Prosecutor Examines Park Police Shooting Of Bijan Ghaisar

The new prosecutor for Fairfax County is looking into the fatal Park Police shooting of Bijan Ghaisar, a 25-year-old accountant from McLean. The shooting happened on Nov. 17, 2017 after Ghaisar fled from a hit-and-run in which his car was struck in a left-turn lane in Alexandria.

Air Force Colonel Gets 5 Years In Child Pornography Plea Deal

An active duty Air Force colonel was sentenced Friday in federal court to prison as part of a plea agreement involving child pornography and taking pictures of girls without their consent, according to prosecutors.
