Patch spotlights Old Dominion Pizza Company, one of the 24 restaurants taking part in the 2024 Winter Restaurant Week in Fairfax City.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Where do you go in Old Town Fairfax if you want a tasty slice of traditional pizza without having to buy a whole pie? Since April 2023, the answer to that question has been Old Dominion Pizza Company on University Drive.
"We are one of the few actual pizza restaurants in the city and we offer individual slices," owner John Rodas told Patch.
The pizzeria's specialty is a Grandma Style Pie, a crispy, square-crust pie with your choice of red, white or pesto sauce.

Old Dominion is one of the 24 restaurants and bars in Fairfax City that will be participating in the 2024 Restaurant Week, which runs from Feb. 26 through March 3.
"Restaurant Week is that nudge our residents get twice a year that says dining out is a community event. Trying new restaurants, or trying new offerings at favorite places, is something we can do together and we invite other people to join us too,” said Fairfax City Mayor, Catherine Read. “Dining in the city can be a culinary trip around the world without needing a passport.”
