At 11:11 p.m. Sunday, a county police officer attempted to stop Stepanovich’s vehicle for a traffic violation in the vicinity of the Fairfax County Parkway and Braddock Road. The driver disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and attempted to elude the officer, the police report said.
The officer used the Precision Immobilization Technique to bring the pursuit to an end, and the driver was taken into custody. Stepanovich was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
