In order to take the pressure off her students' parents, many of whom came from other countries or don't have stable income, an Arlington teacher decided to launch a GoFundMe page to raise money to purchase classroom supplies, such as pencils, notebooks and crayons.

DC, Virginia Museums Celebrate Museum Day With Free Admission

Smithsonian magazine's Museum Day is returning on Saturday, Sept. 18 to celebrate the reopening of museums across the country after long COVID-19-related closures by offering free admission to participating museums.
