54th Annual Holiday Shop at Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church
Mark your calendars for Nov. 21. Annual event features holiday gifts, home decor, jewelry and the Country Kitchen.
Get a jump on holiday shopping with unique gifts at the 54th annual Holiday Shop at Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church (MVUC), a Mount Vernon tradition, Saturday Nov. 21, from 9:30 am – 4 pm at the church buildings and grounds at 1909 Windmill Lane, Alexandria. It is the largest holiday shop in in the area.
Buy gifts from 50 artisans in fiber arts, photography, wood, paper, metal, glass, and clay. Choose from a roomful of orchids. Betty’s Boutique has upscale resale decorative household items and the Jewelry Shop has estate jewelry.
Best of all is the Country Kitchen with the Holiday Shop’s famous chutneys, cakes, pies, cookies and more. Stay all day and have a delicious lunch of homemade soup, sandwich, and cheese pie in Hollin Hall.
