Local Middle School Sponsors 5K Saturday May18!
Local middle school sponsors 5K open to the public - including strollers, dogs, and walkers!
Carl Sandburg Middle School PTA hosts their 24th Annual Pantherlon this Saturday! This is a 5K run open to all ages! Parents, neighbors, students, walkers, strollers, dogs... all are welcome!!
The 5K route starts and ends at the middle school (8428 Fort Hunt Road), winding through the Waynewood neighborhood. Start time is 8 a.m, so please come early to register and/or get warmed up.
This year there is a new twist to this annual event - pancakes afterwards! So, once you get your run in, you can refuel!
