Ex-Boyfriend Gets Life Sentence For Killing Of Jholie Moussa
The man had admitted to police that he strangled his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend in Woodlawn Park.

MOUNT VERNON, VA — The ex-boyfriend of 16-year-old Mount Vernon teen Jholie Moussa will spend life in prison for her murder in January 2018.
A judge sentenced Nebiyu Ebrahim Wednesday, NBC4 first reported. He had pleaded guilty, although he tried to change that plea recently. Ebrahim, who was 17 when he killed Moussa, was originally been charged as a juvenile. A judge's ruling put him on trial as an adult.
Ebrahim previously admitted to police that he strangled Moussa to death, moved her body, and covered it with leaves in Woodlawn Park. Reports indicate had been mad about being sentenced for previously strangling Moussa and that she wanted to end the relationship. Moussa's twin sister Zhane said in court that Ebrahim had repeated abusive behavior toward Jholie.

Moussa left home on Jan. 12, 2018 and texted her sister that she was going to a party in Norfolk. She was reported missing the next day, and police located her body in Woodlawn Park on Jan. 25, 2018.
