Fairfax County Video Offers Fireworks Safety Tips
County emergency responders received more than 400 calls related to fireworks last year.
Fairfax County is offering a video that goes over some safety tips to remember when lighting fireworks this weekend.

- Follow manufacturer's directions.
- Have bystanders 25 feet away.
- Have water nearby.
- Light fireworks one at a time.
- Light fireworks on flat surface.
- Store fireworks in a cool, dry place.
